Systems scale, motivation fades
Relying on motivation is unstable. Designing systems is what allows consistent growth without friction.
Motivation is a mood, and moods change with sleep, stress, and the weather. A system — a fixed time, a checklist, a default next action — keeps working even on the days motivation does not show up.
The goal of a good system is to make the right action the path of least resistance, so it does not depend on willpower to happen.
