Keep a Beginner's Mind
Expertise is valuable, but assuming you already know the answer can close the door to new learning.
A beginner approaches a subject with curiosity because they know there is much they do not understand.
As we become more experienced, something interesting can happen: knowledge can turn into certainty. We start assuming we already know how things work.
A beginner's mind creates space for questions. It allows us to challenge assumptions, notice details, and consider approaches that we might otherwise dismiss.
This does not mean ignoring experience. It means combining experience with enough humility to remain curious.
Ask yourself: What am I assuming? What might I be missing? What would I notice if I approached this as if it were new?
Growth requires knowledge, but it also requires the willingness to keep learning.
