Clarity comes from structure

A well-structured system reduces mental load and makes better thinking almost automatic.

When information has a clear place to live, less energy is spent deciding where it goes and more is left for actually reasoning about it. This applies as much to a personal notes system as it does to a product's information architecture.

Good structure is mostly invisible — you only notice it by how much easier everything downstream becomes.
